Hello, I'm Gene Burch. WELCOME to my web site!

I am an avid photographer who has been snapping pictures for over thirty years. My main focus has been my home state's picturesque State Capital, Frankfort, Kentucky.

Starting in 1992, I developed the first of a series of calendars of well-known scenes and sights of Frankfort. In 1995, I published a soft bound coffee-table book, Frankfort, Capital of Kentucky, which was a culmination of approximately 20 years of photographing spectacular views, memorable events and familiar images of the Capital City.

This site contains all the photographs from the past calendars, the book Frankfort, Capital of Kentucky, and photos from workshops and vacations. I hope you enjoy the web site.
